LC-WELD Manual laser welding machine

Latest laser technology that has revolutionized the world of metal welding.

The manual laser welding machine works with state-of-the-art laser technology that has revolutionised the world of metal welding.

The LC-WELD laser welding machine allows very fine welds without difficulty, without excess filler, minimum heat input and minimum deformation of the materials. It ensures a complete penetration of up to 5 mm (depending on the model) and can replace other conventional welding methods. The LC laser welding machine allows us to make resistant and high-quality welds on different surfaces and types of joints. Among the materials that can be welded are stainless steel, carbon steel or galvanised sheet, aluminium and more.

LC-WELD allows us to work at high speed, which helps to reduce costs and improve efficiency and effectiveness. In some cases we eliminate the need for subsequent polishing.

The LC-WELD machine gives us the option of working with or without material input, with an automatic wire feeding system integrated into the machine for greater convenience and control.

These are versatile machines available in different models and powers, with an integrated interactive control system that can vary the range, angle and width of the weld, allowing different techniques to be applied according to the work to be carried out and depending on the surface welded.

Our Equipment comes with touch screen, interchangeable nozzles, safety alarm system and a high quality comfortable welding gun.

It does not require a high level of specialisation to work with, hence no skilled labour would be necessary.

We only use top quality components that will make the equipment work at 100% of its capacity from the very first moment. At LC, we work with rigorous systems to improve controls and ensure the highest performance of the equipment.

Parts and features of the manual laser welding machine

Touch screen

The LC-WELD Laser welding equipment's display allows simple and practical handling of the machine's parameters, simplifying its options to the maximum without thus diminishing its capabilities. It is organized in different windows within the screen: one for the control of the welding parameters, one for the control of the laser beam, and one with technical details and the option to change the language.

Ergonomic, maneuverable laser pistol

The pistol or torch that incorporates the LC-WELD Laser welding equipment is the most advanced on the market, providing a variety of options unparalleled in the industry. Compared to other options, it is better in many aspects: the lens protector drawer, the uniformity in the measurement of the nozzles, the threaded fixing of the focal distance, and a display that shows the parameters of the galvanometer motor make this system the most advanced in its category.

High safety switch system

The laser welding equipment has a series of switches to turn on the machine and an alarm system for machine control. It is designed to be easy to install a semaphore with light warning and safety systems connected to an enclosed work area.

Wheels with brakes

It facilitates the movement and transport of the laser welding equipment on flat terrain... It also has brakes that allow us to immobilize the machine, thus avoiding any type of accident.

Laser resonator

The laser resonator produces the laser beam, which is directed to the pistol by means of a flex with a fiber optic cable.

Laser Chiller

The "Chiller" or refrigerator is used to cool the Laser resonator and the pistol or torch, to maintain a stable temperature in both, since the energy produced gives off remarkable amounts of heat. The chiller should always contain distilled water, and the level should not fall below the line between normal and full, periodically checking the level and changing the water every 4 months of continuous use.

QBH

The QBH is the system used to join the optical fiber coming out of the laser resonator with the pistol. It is a special connector, and must always be properly connected, otherwise the laser resonator will trigger an alarm and will not allow the LC-WELD laser welding equipment to operate.

Interchangeable nozzles according to the job

The nozzles are copper fixtures that are used as tools and positioners for different types of welding. There are different types of nozzles, which can also be classified according to whether they are for welding with or without fiber wire contribution.

Integrated Feeder

The feeder accessory is a device that is located inside the LC-WELD laser welding equipment, although it is also possible to have an external feeder. The feeder is attached to the pistol by means of a fitting that connects the wire rope to a metal tube and to the pistol. It can be adjusted from the front panel of the feeder itself.

Solutions of the manual laser welding machine

Manual laser welding equipment allows us to make welds on different materials, mostly metals. At an incredible speed with durable welds.

Laser welding of tubes

With laser welding we can also weld cilindrical pieces and welds. In this case, we use LC-WELD series to weld some stainless steel pipes.

Laser welding in aluminium

Laser welding permits to weld even the most difficult metals to weld. In this case, we weld 3mm aluminium with feeding material.

Welding without contribution

The whole welding process is done by heating and dilution of the materials involved. It allows us to quickly weld different materials without losing any quality. The result is very satisfactory and we obtain resistant, clean, aesthetic and durable welds.

Watertight laser welding on stainless steel

The laser welds are watertight and we avoid porosities and possible holes. In this case we make a watertight metal box in stainless steel.

Laser welding and spot welding of automotive parts

Laser welding can be applied to a myriad of industries, including the automotive industry. In this case, we are spot welding and welding carbon steel parts.

Laser welding of different materials

The great versatility of laser welding allows us to weld different materials achieving perfect results in record time.

Welding without contribution

Welding of inside and outside corners

Laser welding with contribution in stainless steel and aluminum. Easy welding of inside and outside corners at different angles. In addition, the result with high quality welds and very good resistance. Welders can work faster and in better conditions and perform much more efficient work.

Aluminum welding

It is a very sensitive material to impurities and easy for bubbles to occur if too much heat is contributed, thus reducing its strength. Laser welding machines allow a minimum heat contribution on the material, very specific weld bead and of small amplitude, high speeds and great depth if required.

Advantages of manual laser welding machine

The manual laser welding equipment is fully configurable by varying the parameters of the machine. They can make complete welds of up to 5mm.

LC-WELD has an integrated material feed system. This gives you the option of working with or without material feed. It is compact, integrated design for easy handling. External feeder/wire feeder is available as an option.

We use a continuous wave laser (CW) which gives better and higher quality results than other lasers such as quasi-continuous lasers (QCW). Higher speed, less material deformation and more depth. The LC-WELD laser has a high efficiency for better results. For this reason, we can ensure very thin beads, with a great depth and penetration, practically without projections and without an excess of filler, which saves a lot of time in polishing, resulting in a firm and deep weld without overheating the material too much, in this way, much less deformation of the materials is obtained, especially in those with little thickness.

For a faster and easier experience, the software allows us to save the parameters of our preference, so that we can access them more quickly. This gives us the possibility to have different specific parameters stored for welding a type of material that we work with on a regular basis, which translates into significant time savings. We can save as many parameters as we want for the different welding operations we carry out on a daily basis.

Our machines integrate a type of laser that is specially designed for welding. That is to say, of the variety of lasers that exist, LC knows which type of laser is best suited to the needs of our customers in the welding sector, so that we can guarantee the best quality in each job.

The manual laser welding equipment gives us the option of working with or without integrated wire contribution. It is an easy to use equipment that allows us to make very fine welds without losing strength or resistance.

Highly configurable equipment to perform different welding techniques and different materials with the same equipment.
